Morecambe Heritage

Morecambe Heritage

Morecambe Heritage is a local heritage community organization for Morecambe.  It is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and currently operates at heritage centre in the Arndale Morecambe Bay.

Morecambe Heritage originally had premises on central promenade where it housed exhibitions such as: 150 years of Music Hall by Ken Bowe (2015), Lancaster-Morecambe-Heysham Electric Railway (2016), Miss Great Britain (2016) and finally The Great War Exhibition (2017).

Morecambe Heritage had to leave their premises at short notice late in 2017.  They opened in new unit in the town’s Arndale Centre early in 2018.

The original plan was to to a pop-up exhibiiton with the long term aim of having a permanent heritage centre in the town.

Morecambe Heritage Centre
